The organisation has new leadership and is embarking on a multi-year transformation program where it is investing significantly to drive growth, revitalize the operational back bone of the business and its digital capabilities.
We are currently looking for an Indirect Procurement Category Manager who will follow our Central Indirect Procurement Strategy, design, develop and execute the Category Strategy, identify and implement sourcing initiatives that deliver cost efficiency, improve service levels, mitigate risks and foster long-term healthy partnerships with the vendors .
Your responsibilities at C&A :
- Execute Indirect Procurement initiatives owned centrally for the assigned Category Portfolio on scale and on behalf of central functions and/or markets to deliver results

Responsible for execution of the Central Category Sourcing Strategy, sourcing plans and programmes, central contract management to ensure further improvement of sourcing processes and standards- Responsible for the implementation of overall strategic category management excellence programme, i.e. Contracts, Tenders, Planning and Forecasting, Monitoring and Reporting, Supplier Relationship Management to drive further professionalization of the function
- Develop and maintain healthy collaborative relationships with internal leaders across all levels to ensure indirect procurement is aligned with their business objectives
What we expect from you :
- University degree in Economics, Finance, Logistics, Business Administration or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of business experience in indirect procurement, preferably within fashion retail industry
- Minimum 3 years of Strategic Category management and sourcing
- Experience in or demonstrated capability of managing commercial results in indirect procurement, ideally across the categories of professional services, facilities management and construction/capex
- Excellent English skills , both written and oral, other languages are a plus
