Administration Assistant [Ireland]


 

We are seeking an Administrator to join The Curragower Team at our Award winning GastroPub. Reporting to the General Manager the Administrator will serve a key role in the smooth and efficient running of the business

Key responsibilities include:

  • Perform administrative duties such as answering phone calls and managing emails
  • Communicating with customers & Restaurant team about bookings and events
  • Maintain accurate records and files, both electronically and in hard copy format
  • Assist in the preparation of weekly reports including cash and payroll
  • Support the HR department by organising contracts and team files
  • Support the procurement process by maintaining inventory records, invoicing, handling supplier payments.
  • Help maintain office supplies and equipment, coordinating repairs and maintenance when necessary.
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of administrative policies and procedures
  • In addition to the daily duties there will be some project work, bringing diversity to the role

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
  • High quality planning, organisation, communication, time management and interpersonal skills.
  • A self-motivated, engaging attitude with a keen attention to detail.
  • The ability to work with sensitive, personal data, handle confidential information effectively and without breach of confidentiality.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Previous experience managing bookings & events
  • Experience in the hospitality industry a definite advantage
  • The position would suit an experienced hospitality professional who would like to transition to an administrative role which has a Monday - Friday flexible schedule

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 25-35 per week

Salary: €13.00-€16.00 per hour
