This job is based in head office of a multi site company. It is not customer facing and is telephone based. Other administration jobs required along side phone calls.
Responsibilities:
- Answer calls that are incoming for multiple hotel and holiday let sites.
- Respond to guest inquiries or requests where possible, pass onto hotel staff where they cannot be answered.
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
- Handle guest complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
- Process payments and maintain accurate records of guest transactions
- Assist room assignments
- Upselling of additional nights stay, early and late check out, and booking table reservations.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficient in using phone systems and computer software, namely google docs. Someone with experience in EPOS till systems would be preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling guest information
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred
