A successful and very established distributor of car , leisure and garden products are looking for a quality control assistant to be based within our warehouse in Whythenshawe.
Quality Control Assistant
The ideal candidate with be responsible for:
- First point Quality control checks, including ensuring products that come off the container conform to the specification and intended use of the product.
- Recording product information and entering into our excel data sheets.
- Aspects of customer service on a adhoc basis and when required, this ranging from email to calls.
- The ideal candidate would also be responsible for running the spare parts department, which involves identifying customers needs, picking the spare part order and sending out, picking them to send to customers, identifying customers needs Picking spare parts and making this their own department,

Please note this is a warehouse based role, supporting the quality control team who are based at an off site office location.
Other requirements include:
1 years minimum experience working in quality control or product support.
Someone used to working in a warehouse , as opposed to office environment,
Someone who is practical and can develop product knowledge.
Ability to work to tight deadlines and develop an in-depth product knowledge
Basic English/Maths to GCSE level.
Comfortable using PC, especially Excel, Word etc.
Understanding of Manual Handling.
Able to work independently.
Attention to detail.
