Restaurant Manager [Ireland]


 

The Role

  • Lead from the front, showing the best example of service and quality.
  • Oversee strict stock and cash control.

  • Manage all aspects of the venue including the food offering and drinks promotions.
  • Maintain the high standards of quality and service that are already being achieved.
  • This high-volume operation means managing large numbers of staff with the help of senior restaurant and bar management teams.
  • Liaise with managing directors to ensure the restaurant is staying on course to achieve given targets.
  • Liaise with various departments including marketing and health & safety to ensure targets are being met.

The Candidate

  • A minimum of 2 years in senior management in the gastro pub/restaurant industry.
  • General management experience in a similar size and style establishment a distinct advantage.
  • Ability to work under pressure with a positive attitude.
  • Excellent customer service and customer focus.
  • A real motivator, someone who can drive their team to be the best.
  • Whiskey/Gin/Cocktail knowledge an advantage.
  • A finger on the pulse of the most up to date trends in both food and beverage.
  • Strong commercial knowledge in all aspects of the business.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From €40,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

  • Overtime pay
  • Tips

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Sligo, CO. Sligo: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

  • Hospitality management: 1 year (preferred)
  • Restaurant: 2 years (preferred)
