About the role
Do you have experience working with children, Early Careers Teacher (ECT) or a Newly Qualified Teacher looking to gain further experience?
If yes, Vision for Education are seeking teaching assistants to work in a full or part time capacity at a thriving primary school in Bridlington, described to have a friendly atmosphere by Ofsted.
The Role
- As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will be required to work with pupils in either Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2).
- Supporting pupils with individual needs, working in a one-to-one, or group capacity.
- Support teachers in managing class behaviour, and supervising group activities.
- Helping in preparing classrooms for lessons, potentially helping with trips / outings and sports events.
- Flexibility offers the ability to work hours that suit you, on either a part- or full-time capacity (3 – 5 days a week).
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have previous experience working within a school, with children of the ages 4 – 1 1, or care setting.
- Be able to promote a safe and positive learning environment.
- Mentor and engage with pupils.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant you will:
- Experience with children or previous experience in a care setting is desirable.
- Will hold or apply for an enhanced DBS registered to the update service, be able to provide proof of identity, address and right to work in the UK, and provide details for 2 references (1 from most recent employer and 1 other).
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Experience with children or previous experience in a care setting is desirable.
