JOB TITLE: Specialist_Sales & Order Processing
DIVISION: GAP (Gas and Process)
REPORT TO: Manager_Aftermarket
LOCATION: Busan Plant
[Mission]
Being located within the PC in Busan you will receive spare part requests from either end customers or our regional AM centers for the products the local entity has executed. Based on these requests you will contact local suppliers, provide additional information, collaborate with the local sourcing team and finally supply prices and lead times to the requestor.
You will report to the local After Market Manager, the position is located in Busan/Korea.
[Key Responsibilities]
You will own and execute the spare parts process from RfQ to supplier over entering demand and purchase order into our SAP system, over expediting due time delivery and shipment to our internal and external customer Your key responsibilities will be, but are not limited, to:
- Source spare parts from (mainly) local suppliers according specific given technical specifications. Hereto you will closely collaborate with the local Sourcing function having your cost and delivery date targets as priority
- Support inbound and outbound logistic processes using existing forwarders or develop new ones
- Collaborate with the regional AM team for SEA as well as the other AM teams within the GAP division regarding the CLNG business
- Monitor supplier performance (quality and delivery) and take corrective actions as required together with the local Sourcing and Quality function.
- Consolidation of spare parts from local vendor and local PC to meet the customer requirements.
- Assure documented feedback to improve our products and processes as well as commercial success, frequently participate in design review meetings
- Support the Divisional Supply Chain Manager for specific requests
- Optimize the purchasing cost and supplier selection to ensure best price, quality, and lead time
[Experience and knowledge]
- University degree majored in engineering or equivalent, additional commercial background is a surplus
- Technical understanding about rotating machinery and related components like valves, heat exchanger, drives, controls, …
- More than 3 years’ experience in the field of sourcing
- Proven negotiation skills
- Familiar with logistics processes, inbound and outbound, also export
- Experience in working within an international company is a surplus
- Confident handling of MS O365, ERP system (SAP is a surplus) and our PLM system
- Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken, Korean language is your mother tongue
