Inside Sales Representative [Netherlands]


 

What are you going to do?

For this position, your responsibilities will be, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Maintain and enhance a profitable relationship with customers.
  • Assist to build new business relationship, follow up on sent quotations and previous sales calls and process new customer’s documents.
  • Know and negotiate the buying rates and determine the selling rates and GP level on all quoted shipments.
  • Interact with the customers in arranging their shipments, to meet the expectations of the customers with services provided.
  • Manage and track the status of customer’s shipments, maintain contact with overseas partners, and liaise with ocean and air departments about all shipments.
  • To meet the KPI standard in accordance with company business plan and procedures.
  • Other assignments by the management.

What do you bring to the company?

  • Minimum of 4 year of experience in sales, business development or similar role. Experience in the logistics industry will be a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Excellent multitasking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Dutch and English.
  • Ability to present and explain ideas to a variety of audiences.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to sell value and create credibility.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Enthusiastic to build good relationships with customers, agents and team members.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
