About the Role
- Utilize your 1A Security License to its fullest extent ensuring the security and safety of all staff, patients and visitors, protection of property, and providing a wide range of patient-focused duties such as cleaning, patient support and administrative tasks as required.

- Hunter New England Health (HNE Health) provides a range of public health services to the Hunter, New England and Lower Mid North Coast regions.
- Locations are negotiable but primary location will be Armidale.
- Armidale is the main hub of the New England High Country, and is one of Australia’s most elegant regional locations, with its 19th-century churches and heritage architecture. A graceful city of tree-lined streets, Armidale is a five-and-a-half hour drive from Sydney and less than 90 minutes from Tamworth, with flights between Sydney and Armidale operating daily.

Requirements
- The ability to complete all requirements of the Violence Prevention & Management course and subsequent refresher training of all mandatory training as determined by HNELHD and licencing requirements.
- Willing to work in a COVID-19 quarantine facility.
- Must have current Security Licence according to the Security Industry Act 1997 – Class 1 A.
- Must have current Senior First Aid Certificate.
- Must have current NSW Driver's Licence (P2 Licence acceptable).
- Willing to submit vaccination record / serology report should you be successful.

- To be eligible for permanent employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, or a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport. Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable local candidate is identified for the position; in this instance, you may only be offered employment in line with the conditions and expiry date of your visa.

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). Additionally, Category A workers are required to receive a booster dose three months after completing the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations. New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate (IM011 immunisation medical exemption form) certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.
Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
