The Vocational Training for People with Disabilities Office of the VTC oversees the operation of the Shine Skills Centre, Shine Vocational Assessment Service and Shine Technical Aids and Resource Centre. In a caring environment, these Shine operational units provide a wide range of industry-specific skill training and support services for people with disabilities aged 15 or above to enhance their employability and support their integration into the society.
Major Duties:

(a)
To support the planning and implementation of Shine Skills Centre (Kwun Tong) relocation project;
(b)
To liaise with various stakeholders on the student admission & record system architecture design and project development and applications with various tools and technologies;
(c)
To develop marketing communications collaterals for publicity and digital contents for social media platforms;
(d)
To supervise and coordinate the work of supporting staff; and
(e)
To assist in coordinating projects and events, and publicity matters.
Requirements:
(a)
A recognised degree or equivalent;
(b)
At least 2 years’ relevant work experience at the executive level, preferably in educational institutions or major organisations;
(c)
Good communication, interpersonal, organisation and administrative skills;
(d)
Good problem solving, time management and team building skills;
(e)
Self-initiative, willingness to meet challenges and the ability to work independently; and
(f)
Good proficiency in both written and spoken Chinese and English, preferably including Putonghua.
Notes:
(1)
Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written test in English and Chinese.
(2)
The appointees may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours.
(3)
In support of the Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC) Scheme launched by the Hong Kong Police Force, all prospective appointees will be requested to undergo the SCRC at the advanced stage of the employment process.
