About this position:
An estimates product specialist is responsible for training customers on the successful rollout and use of Rivet’s patient cost estimates product. This will include working directly with hospitals and physician practices during roll-out, troubleshooting issues with patient eligibility, validating the accuracy of patient cost estimates, and driving improved product functionality by working cross-teams.
What you will get to do:
- Be the product (and industry) guru on patient cost estimates for hospitals and physician groups
- Be the point person for customer training, engagement, and product adoption
- Create and maintain training documentation for customer self-serve tools
- Willingness to work with the product and engineering teams to continually improve the product's capabilities
- Be the voice of the customer and escalate issues internally through to resolution
- Continually follow up with outstanding tickets and technical issues
- Open, maintain, and prioritize engineering tickets within the internal ticketing system
- Champion company-level objectives, key results, and key performance indicators, and launch new initiatives
- Responsible for identification of errors or trends to ensure that the product is functioning for customers
- Utilize multiple software products to organize workflow and track engagement
- Other potential duties as assigned
What skills you’ll need to succeed:
- Proficiency in healthcare adjudication for both providers and hospital services (payments, adjustments, payer policies, etc..)
- Knowledge of healthcare payment methodologies with experience in understanding hospital-managed care agreements, and reimbursement methodologies (e.g. MS-DRG/APR-DRG, CPT/HCPC codes, Modifiers, Multiple Procedure Payment Reduction (MPPR), etc…)
- Extensive knowledge of electronic insurance verification (270/271 EDI transactions) and patient access
- Understanding of patient cost estimates and overall revenue cycle
- Comfort and ability to research complicated healthcare questions
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Self-starter mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Effective presentation skills to demo new functionality and training
