We’re hiring for a Nearshore Finance Business Partner as part of Merkle in Barcelona.Job Description:
Purpose of the Role
Our Neashore centres in EMEA employ 1700 of our best talent support our region in all of our different markets. We have 5 locations across Europe (Spain, Portugal, Bulgaria, Czech Republic and Serbia) that work for not only our clients but also for our internal functions.
We are in the process of regionalising and standardising our nearshore centres in order to boost growth and better support our markets and clients.
We are looking for an experienced Finance Business Partner to lead and own all the financial related matters concerning our nearshore delivery centres and legal entities.
This role will report to the EMEA Commercial CFO in Merkle and will work closely with the finance leadership of the different markets as well as the regional leadership and Merkle’s Global CFO.
Key Responsibilities
- Internal pricing development, ownership and management.
- Planning and forecasting overview and control over the 5 legal entities.
- Financial analysis and insight - Advise on key business decisions through sound financial analysis and commercial judgement, highlighting options, trade-offs, risks, and opportunities keeping the business focused on its financial goals.
- Lead the monthly financial analysis process ensuring all business leaders understand the key drivers of the business performance.
- Financial performance reporting, forward-looking analysis, margin analysis, drill down region/market/practice area.
- Support the delivery of the KPIs and metrics which are being deployed for CXM in 2022.
- Strong understanding of key clients by market/cluster, margin performance & risk profile.
- Prioritize KPIs and tracks performance against internal targets and external best practices, making timely interventions at appropriate times.
- Coordination with our Control and Tax teams to ensure all compliance is met.
Qualifications:
What are we looking for in you
- Years of experience: 6 to 10 years of experience in Commercial Finance roles / Finance Control. Industry and Audit experience is a plus.
- Education: University degree or MBA. Graduate degree and/or internationally recognised finance/accounting qualification (i.e. ACA/CPA, CMA or CFA).
- Range of experience: strong operational finance experience (reporting, closing, control, tax), commercial (FP&A, Pricing, M&A).
- Strong analytical skills: Ability to deal with and analyse unstructured problems/queries and to question and challenge existing procedures.
- Strong commercial mindset and partnership skills
- Change management, change agent.
- Strong communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience influencing and communicating at all levels across the business.
- Ability to communicate complex financial issues confidently to senior management
- Strong awareness of process, IT, and data and the ability to drive efficient processes
- Proficiency in English and Office Suite. D365 knowledge will be a plus.
