Descripción

• Formulates and deploy long-term strategic plans to enable efficient and cost-effective applications/technology.

• Develop and manage the budget for the IT function responsibility, ensuring to comply with the goals, guidelines, and objectives set by the Business, Global IT, and Manufacturing.

• Administers the IT project execution that provides digitized tools helping to improve the plant processes and operations.

• Oversee the availability and correct usage of internal/external communications, local/remote applications, and all IT-related equipment or service across the Piedras Negras locations.

• Ensures the availability of the IT environment to support all local and Global Applications reporting tools, PCs, laptops, printers, and all other IT-supported equipment in the PN locations.

• Promotes a Global IT environment, helping with the local IT teams' integration, tools standardization, and leveraging other Global IT resources to support the PN locations.

• Researches potential technology solutions supporting business initiatives and plant opportunities and developing cost/benefit analyses and business case justifications for project investment and spending for the PN locations.

• Responsible for negotiating and administrating IT vendors, consultant companies, and service agreements for the PN locations.

Perfil buscado

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems

Proficient in English Language Knowledge and experience:

• 5+ years of experience managing or a small/medium size IT Team in a multi-site and highly demanding manufacturing environment.

• Proven experience in IT infrastructure strategic planning, development, and project management.

• Highly experienced in understanding manufacturing plant operations and supply chain management.

• Solid Experience Analyzing and Designing IT Services for Plants start-up and product transfers.

• Strong understanding of human resource management principles, practices, and procedures.

• Solid experience implementing and supporting ERP and MRP, administering tech support and LAN, WAN, and Virtual Servers.

• In-depth knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to IT in the Mexican and the US border locations.

• Superior understanding and alignment with business goals and objectives.
