We are looking for an experienced and well-organized Operation Support Staff. Below are some skills required:
Job Purpose
- Operation Support Staff (OSS) role is part of an important position to operate the power and water plant’s auxiliaries safely and efficiently in order to achieve commercial targets within strict environmental and contractual limits.
- To operate and maintain the facility in the field, optimizing plant performance through established procedures
- To monitor the facility and report defects, unsafe conditions, unsafe acts, or any other abnormal situation to the Operation Team.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Works in the power and desalination plant’s Auxiliaries under the supervision of Operation Team.
- Carries out regular and detailed inspections of all rotating and static equipment ensuring accurate and proper functioning of each item individually and in conjunction with other equipment
- Actions routine operational tasks in order to enable safe, high-quality shift outcomes and executes tasks under the instructions of Operation Team.
- Carries out independently systems line-up for day to day operations activities such as transfer or addition of chemicals, diversion of products, etc.
- Logs local readings at regular specified intervals from indicators, gauges or instruments. Records and advises the Control Room Engineer of any deviations from normal operating conditions and adjusts as required
- Is required to understand and promptly act upon oral operational instructions, respond effectively in pressure situations, makes quick decisions in the event of breakdown or failure to safeguard the Plant, manage stress, coordinate and follow up on maintenance activities, ensuring safety and compliance with procedures
- Performs all duties and responsibilities assigned by Operation Team, but not specifically stated in this description
- Drives company vehicles as instructed

Salary: AED3,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
