Job responsibilities for a gelato maker:
1. Prepare high-quality gelato according to established recipes and standards.
2. Operate and maintain gelato production equipment, ensuring cleanliness and functionality.
3. Monitor ingredients and inventory levels, and place orders as necessary to maintain sufficient supplies.
4. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage and labelling of ingredients.
5. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all stages of production.
6. Experiment with new flavours, ingredients, and techniques to develop innovative gelato recipes.
7. Collaborate with the team to create seasonal and specialty gelato offerings.
8. Uphold the company's brand standards and consistently deliver exceptional product quality.
9. Provide excellent customer service by answering inquiries, making recommendations, and serving gelato.
10. Train and mentor junior gelato makers, sharing knowledge and ensuring consistency in product quality and production processes.
